Inspection and Testing

Proper inspection has these main benefits:

  • Saving lives
  • Eliminating expensive service calls
  • Meeting insurance and local jurisdictional requirements

NICET-CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) sets the standards for fire safety in US buildings. The building owner bears the responsibility to comply with these national standards, which are becoming mandatory throughout the country. Very few owners have the qualifications to meet the standards themselves, so they typically hire a company like Advanced Fire Protection Systems with NICET-certified technicians (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies).

COMPREHENSIVE REPORTS

We provide customers with comprehensive, easy-to-read reports that detail our findings. The report shows your system’s conditions along with our recommendations for maintaining the system integrity throughout its lifespan. We will also inform you about supplemental recommendations if we see need for improvement.

REPAIR DURING INSPECTION

We can often make minor repairs during the inspection process at your request. This eliminates the need for return service calls and minimizes costs.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

We maintain your inspection schedule for you, saving you from having to schedule the next call. We’ll call ahead to ensure we’re coming at a convenient time.

EMERGENCY AND EXIT LIGHT TESTING

How often do you check your emergency and exit lights? If left unchecked, you won’t know if they are working until the power goes out, which is when you need them! But in an emergency, you will be glad that they are working. We can include these inspections as part of our service.
